Shaken, Not Stirred – Happy Hour for 8

This piece has been commissioned by a chamber music group consisting of members of the acclaimed Wuerttemberger Kammerorchester Heilbronn in Germany. They needed a piece for all participants of a “crossover” concert as a closer for the eclectic program. I settled on four movements named after four well known cocktails. The composition quotes “b-a-c-h” throughout in various disguises and blends light jazz with classical form. Duration approx 20 minutes. The audio sample is a compilation of 4 sections from all four movements.
